We all look forward to Memorial Day. The warmer weather signals the “unofficial” start of summer. It’s time to jump in the pool and grill in the backyard. However, it’s also a great time to score the best Memorial Day sales and deals.
Before we jump into this, I want you to make sure you have saved money for whatever you’re going to buy. After all, let’s face it — Memorial Day sales and deals are usually splurge items. So, please buy responsibly and put little to nothing on credit cards if at all possible.
Unless, of course, you’re trying to be smart and you have the cash in the bank. But, you still want the rewards points. Good idea!
I compiled a list of Memorial Day sales and deals for patio furniture, televisions, vacations, clothing, and grills. This is where I felt a lot of readers would be most interested. If there’s anything you want to share with me to post, email me at RunTheMoneyBlog@gmail.com and I’d be happy to get it up there.
Bring on the deals …

How does 40% sound? Target has some great Memorial Day sales and deals on patio furniture you will want to check out.
Target is doing 30% off plus an extra 10% off patio furniture when you use the promo code SPRING. This includes all patio furniture, dining sets, conversation sets, and small space sets.
They have sets from under $500, under $300, and starting at $99.
Plus, you get FREE SHIPPING on orders $35 and up with FREE RETURNS. Not a bad deal.
I think it’s time to upgrade to a 4K Ultra HDTV. What do you think?
The two televisions I found on Amazon’s 2017 Memorial Day sales and deals are out of this world. But, they’re going to set you back a pretty penny.
Either way, I’m a guy, so I love huge televisions. These are both 65-inches, but the quality is insane.
The first is from LG Electronics. It’s the 2016 model of their 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV. Ready for the price? It’s $5,997 with FREE delivery. The deal is that you get 25% off of the list price of $7,999.99.
The second is also an LG television. It’s their 2016 model of the 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV. So, it’s more affordable than the one above at $2,497 also with FREE delivery. You’re saving 38% off the list price of $3,999.99.
Then again, you may be looking for something a little more affordable. Check out Amazon’s list of HDTVs and find something perfect for your budget!
Ready to get a great deal on your next vacation?
If you become a Rewards Club member with IHG, you can save 20% on your hotel stay in select cities. This is the company that owns Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and other brand name hotels.
Then again, if you decide to go with AirBnB, make sure use my referral link!
There’s plenty of Memorial Day sales and deals on clothing essentials.
My wife and I are huge Amazon Prime fans. So, anything you buy through Amazon, I would say you better have Prime. You can try Amazon Prime with a 30-Day Free Trial.
For women, Amazon has deals going on for dresses, ladies workout apparel, and shoes. For men, you can get a great deal on suits, active wear, and dress shoes. And for the kiddos, make sure you check out the summer clothes and shoes as well.
How can a list of Memorial Day sales and deals be complete without a few grills?
Yes, the grill. Fire that thing up and it’s instantly summer time. Hot dogs, burgers, chicken, and steak. So good just to think about!
For propane grills, Weber has the best seller at under $500. If you’re more of a charcoal person, go with Weber’s $99 option (also an Amazon best seller). Then again, you could always go with an electric grill. George Forman has an indoor/outdoor electric grill for under $90.
Conclusion: Don’t wait to take advantage of these Memorial Day sales and deals.
There you have it. Some great (and interesting) deals to think about heading into Memorial Day weekend. I hope you have a wonderful time checking out all the great Memorial Day sales and deals.
That said, be sure to buy responsibly. Don’t go into massive debt for anything and make sure it doesn’t break the budget. Buy what you can afford.
