Make sure you get help. A doctor will be able to assess you and give you exercises to perform to speed up your recovery, a therapist can talk to you about any worries you are having (don’t be too proud to get help), and a top law firm can be useful if the injury wasn’t your fault. You have to get help if you need it, or you’re just going to feel overwhelmed.

Although your doctor may have given you exercises to perform, don’t do things they advised against, such as going to the gym or doing the exercises too much. You may slow your recovery if you overexert yourself.

Finally, use visualization as a tool to heal. You may not agree, but don’t shut it down until you’ve tried it yourself – some studies suggest that our brain controls the healing process. This means that by visualizing and thinking the right thoughts, we can heal faster. The mind is far more powerful than we give it credit for!
