7 Must Have DIY Tools for Weekend Warriors
Miter Saw
Found from Lazy Guy DIY
We’ve used a miter saw for many projects. Make sure you have somebody to teach you how to properly use this saw. Last thing you want is to lose a finger. That wouldn’t necessarily go with the decor.
In our previous home, we hung a lot of chair rail throughout the house. So, I cut my teeth (no, not literally) over the months and years doing that work.
Where to get your first miter saw? You can check out the one Adam from Lazy Guy DIY has above or search Amazon for all miter saws.
Power Sanders
Found from Scrappy Geek
Andrew over at Scrappy Geek recommends every DIYer have at least one power sander. If you’re looking for just one to start with, he says to go with an orbital sander.
Power Drill
Found from Pink Toes and Power Tools
As power drills go, there are plenty out there to choose from. However, Kristen from Pink Toes and Power Tools is a Dewalt power drill fan to the core.
Shop Vacuum (aka Wet Vac)
Found from Man Made DIY
The guys over at Man Made DIY sing the praises of the shop vac. It’s pretty must a staple DIY tool. Something has to clean up all that leftover crap and debris. Just be careful it doesn’t grab the dog’s tail!
Jigsaw
Found from Love & Renovations
The jigsaw is another must have DIY tool for weekend warriors. Fortunately, Kristen over at Love & Renovations has a wonderful tutorial for using her Ryobi jigsaw!
Level
Found from Thriving Home
Rachel and Polly over at Thriving Home have a great tutorial on How to Hang Perfectly Level Decor on Walls. Clearly, they’re fans of the level and I’m including it in the must have DIY tools list.
