Thought provoking post Dave. “Begin with the end in mind” is a personal favorite. I teach people how to buy the ‘Right House’ for the life they want to live. Most house shoppers are picturing the house they want not the life they want. You must have the right ‘end’ in mind. Of course that requires ‘putting first things first’. Keep up the good work.

Amen, Bill. Thanks for the awesome comment. My wife and I were real estate agents in a former life. So, I know exactly what you mean!

This compilation of quotes are so right on point, Dave! In fact, while reading them, I can imagine some people I know that pose like they are rich while in fact, they are drowning in debts just to look rich. I feel sad for them if only they will realize what they are doing can have a great effect later on, especially during retirement. On the other hand, seeing them reminds me to be simple and frugal, so that I could reach my financial goal for the future. Also, I love the quote saying “begin with the end in mind,” that is what drives me to keep a healthy lifestyle and getting coverages and even studying Medicare and supplements etc, so that in the future, I won’t regret much about health care costs. Kinda serious about the future here, lol. Again, thank you!
